• Heavy rain has been affecting the capital city of Kigali over the last few days causing casualties and damage.
• Local media reported that at least eight people were killed, several people were injured and dozens of homes were damaged in several areas of the capital, as of 4 April.

PAKISTAN
• Heavy rain affected several northern areas of the country over the last few days, especially the province of Khyber-Pkhtunkhwa, causing floods and landslides.
• As of 5 April, there were 61 dead, 52 people injured, 374 homes damaged in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

FIJI
• Heavy rain has been affecting several islands of Fiji over the last three days causing floods. Approx. 177 mm of rain in 24 h were recorded in Nadi (Viti Levu island) and 61 mm in Rakiraki (Viti Levu island) over 4-5 April.
• Local media reported that one person has died, over 2 000 people have been evacuated in several areas of Viti Levu island, as well as several schools closed and traffic disruption in several areas of the country, as of 5 April • More heavy rain may affect the country over the next 48 h due to the passage of TC EIGHTEEN.
